MAKO, a brand of MK Ecco Pty Ltd, guarantees the quality of its products with a hassle-free lifetime warranty on eligible items. We ensure our products are free from any material or manufacturing defects for their entire lifespan.
Coverage:
Our lifetime warranty covers any issues arising from faulty workmanship or materials when the product is used under normal domestic conditions, which refer to use within a household environment following the provided care and use instructions. If a defect is attributed to a manufacturing fault, we will replace the defective cookware with a similar product or one of equal value, free of charge, if the original product is unavailable.
Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., minor scratches, chips)
- Cosmetic damages that do not affect functionality (e.g., stains, discolouration)
- Accidents, misuse, or neglect (e.g., dropping the product, improper cleaning)
- Products not purchased new from MAKO
- Products without valid proof of purchase or product registration
- Products used for commercial purposes
- Damage from misuse (e.g., improper cleaning methods leading to rust or discolouration)
- Wok kit accessories
Consequential Damages:
This warranty does not cover consequential damages. MAKO is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages resulting from the use or failure of the product.
Australian Consumer Law:
Under Australian Consumer Law, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. In the event of a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement, refund, or compensation for any foreseeable loss or damage. If the goods fail to meet acceptable quality standards and the failure does not constitute a major one, you have the right to request repairs or replacement. This warranty provides additional benefits and does not limit your statutory rights.
