CLEANING & AFTERCARE

Clean your board with warm, soapy water and dry with a soft towel. Avoid soaking it in water, and steer clear of the dishwasher. To keep your board in great condition, season occasionally with natural vegetable oil or food safe mineral oil.

Natural oils from the chopping board can release over time. For this reason, be mindful not to place your board on porous surfaces as it could result in the transfer of oil. Please also ensure your board is kept dry.

CAUTION

Do not place hot pots and pans on your cutting board or non-slip mat.

Do not use non-slip mats on lacquered surfaces.

    Master 18 all purpose chopping board

    We have a new kitchen and the Mako chopping board is a wonderful addition. It not only looks good but is functional. It arrived and it is exactly has ordered and described on site. It’s easy to cut on and clean. We are extremely happy with our purchase. We have ordered butchers board as well plus saucepans. Our love of cooking has returned with all our Mako products.

    Solid! Heavy! Quality!

    I’ve had so many chopping boards and I could not imagine spending over $50 on one, until I found out the cheaper chopping boards usually contain glues which are toxic! Low and behold, I took the plunge on MAKO chopping boards as they were on sale and since the other products I’d purchased were high quality I couldn’t justify purchasing another brand and being disappointed. The chopping board is heavy, top quality and cutting on it feels amazing. I never thought it would feel any different from cutting on any other chopping board BUT it’s a thing! I would definitely recommend purchasing if it’s in your budget.
