Dishwasher Safe: All pieces are dishwasher-safe.

Oven Safe: Cookware is oven-safe up to 260°C. Glass lids are oven-safe up to 200°C.

Get the Best from Stainless Steel

Wash before first use. For browning, preheat the pan, add oil and allow food to form a crust before turning. Add liquid to deglaze the browned bits into a sauce. Match the burner size to the pan base, especially on induction.

Clean, Dry and Cook Again

Allow cookware to cool before washing. For stainless steel, soak stuck-on food in warm, soapy water and clean with a soft sponge. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

What does the copper core do for my cooking?

Copper and aluminium conduct heat through the five-layer body, helping distribute heat evenly and respond to changes in heat setting. That gives you more control when browning, reducing a sauce or holding a gentle simmer.

Is this set non-stick?

The four core pieces have uncoated stainless steel cooking surfaces. Preheat, add oil and let browned food release before turning. Any promotional non-stick pan is an additional gift.

Does ‘4-piece’ include the lids?

It means four cooking vessels. Each comes with its own lid: three glass lids and a stainless steel lid for the Essential Pan.

How is it different from the Signature Set?

Choose Essential for four uncoated stainless steel pieces, including the wide Essential Pan. Signature pairs three stainless steel pots with three non-stick pans for cooking that benefits from easy release.

Will the copper rim change colour?

Yes. The exposed copper at the rim can darken over time. This is normal; follow the care guide for cleaning.

    The best ever cookware

    I just love Mako products and have been using them for some time. In particular the only products that live up to all the expectations in terms of performance and durability. Less is more. Get the key pieces and you won't need anything else, and, it will last. The stainless steel pots are fantastic and work effortlessly.
