INGREDIENTS

225g (1½ cups) all purpose flour
60g (¼ cup) sugar
3 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 tsp Chinese five spice
200ml coconut milk
2 eggs
½ tsp vanilla extract
50g melted butter
butter to serve
icing sugar to serve

For the salted caramel:
160g (1 cup loosely packed) brown sugar
200ml coconut cream
1 tsp sea salt
