Warranty Coverage
CookDineHost warrants products sold by CookDineHost and purchased directly from cookdinehost.com against defects in material, construction, or workmanship under normal non-professional use and in accordance with care instructions, for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
For warranty evaluation, contact us at support@cookdinehost.com. If approved, we will repair or replace the item at no charge. Return the product properly packaged, postage prepaid, with proof of purchase, your contact details, and a description of the defect.
If the original item is no longer available, we will provide a replacement of equal or greater retail value. Replacement color may vary. Proof of purchase is required to process a warranty claim.
What Products are Covered
- The MAKO Black Steel collection comes with a lifetime warranty, excluding the Wok Lid which comes with a 12 month warranty.
- The MAKO Genius 5-Ply stainless steel collection comes with a lifetime warranty, excluding their lids which come with a 12 month warranty.
- The MAKO Genius 5-Ply non-stick collection comes with a 12 month warranty, which includes their lids.
- The MAKO Aero Non-Stick Roaster collection comes with a 12 month warranty.
- The MAKO Master 20 Butcher's Block comes with a 12-month warranty.
- The MAKO Prestige 18 Multi-Use Chopping Board comes with a 12-month warranty.
- The MAKO 18 All-Purpose Chopping Board comes with a 12-month warranty.
- Unfortunately the cookbooks are not covered under warranty.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover the following:
- Commercial or non-consumer use, abuse, neglect, or failure to follow product instructions
- Cosmetic damage such as scratches, stains, scuffs, discoloration, or paint chips
- Improper storage, thermal shock, excessive heat, or use of metal/sharp utensils
- Damage from fire, flood, or other natural occurrences
- Glass or porcelain components
- Damage from scouring pads, bleach, or abrasive cleaners
- Normal cosmetic changes on MAKO Black Carbon Steel (e.g. patina development)
- Replacement of non-defective components in multi-part products
This warranty is non-transferable and valid only for the original purchaser (or gift recipient) with proof of purchase. CookDineHost may use reconditioned or refurbished items during the replacement process.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, CookDineHost's sole liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability will never exceed the purchase price of the product. No oral or written description constitutes an express warranty. Your legal rights may vary by jurisdiction.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I return or replace an item I am not happy with?
Yes - each product is subject to specific warranty terms available upon request. CookDineHost will replace items that arrive damaged. Notify us within 48 hours of receiving the package. Products must be returned in original, unopened condition, with proof of purchase.
What information do you require for a refund?
Returned items must be in original condition with unmarked packaging and accompanied by the original tax invoice or receipt.
Will I be reimbursed for shipping?
No, shipping is non-refundable unless the returned product is deemed faulty.
How long does a refund take?
Refunds are processed within approximately 30 days and issued to the original payment method used at cookdinehost.com.
I have a problem with my cookware. How do I get it assessed?

- Photos of the complete item (including handles/lids)
- Interior view (tilted upward)
- Exterior base
- Close-up of the problem area
- Proof of purchase
