HOW TO
CLEAN YOUR BLACK STEEL
1
Let your pan cool down before cleaning with warm water, your brush and minimal detergent.

2
Once your pan is clean, rinse it and dry with a tea towel or paper towel.

3
Heat your pan on your cooktop on a medium heat until you see light smoke appear.

4
Add two teaspoons of vegetable oil to your hot pan.

5
Use paper towel to (carefully) wipe the oil over the interior surface before taking your pan off the heat.

6
Store your pan in a dry place, careful not to stack other pans on top of it.

The beginning of a stainless steel love story
I used to use non stick, Teflon pans but over time didn't like the coating and build up. After experimenting with a smaller sauce pan, it was time to level up and get a Mako 28cm. Things I love: once you work out the heating up method (see one of Marion's great demos) and exercising patience, the stainless steel pan(SSP) works a treat. 28cm, great size, depth and width. On stove, in oven. On table. Easy to clean and used on repeat. Works well with bacon and eggs, made a roast chicken dinner stove to oven, pasta, a one pot meal. A great purchase.
Beyond expectations
Superior quality, fantastic performance and they look and feel like true quality. Absolutely worth the price and then some!
Perfect!
Just what we were looking for. Good balance of quality materials, good design and not too heavy. Love the whole range :)
Joy to use
What a beautiful looking pan. From the first opening I have been smitten with this ‘essential pan’! It is beautifully weighted and using the tips easy to clean. The best bit it was big enough to do a meal for my whole family (7). Have been coveting other pans in the Collection.

Great frypan. Makes perfect eggs. Easy to clean. I had lots of high end pans this is by far the best,
