Best One I ever Own
One of the best investments in my kitchen! I've had a few mortar and pestles but they're not as good as the one that my mum owns, that she's been using since I was little (in North Borneo). I live in Australia now and can't find one that's good enough - until this! It's deep enough and has the right "curve" so the ingredients I'm pounding stays inside the m&p (instead of splattering everywhere). The weight is just nice and the wooden rest helps with stability. Also, I think the texture of this m&p makes grinding more effective. Got this during a promo so it's a double win!
